KLB Research is committed to protecting your privacy. Comprehensive policies and procedures have been implemented in order to safeguard the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.
Use of Personal Information
KLB Research only collects personal information which is necessary for the conduct of its research and personal information is only used for the purpose for which it is collected.
1. General Inquiries
During your visit to our website, you may choose to submit information about your personal identity, such as your name, address and telephone number, on voluntary on-line or other inquiry forms. The personal information is used by KLB Research in order to respond to your inquiry.
2. Participants
Personal information may be requested from prospective participants and is required from all prospective participants in order to support the research process. Participants need not divulge their real name, but in order to be eligible for prizes and draws, participants must provide accurate contact information, predominantly with reference to their Email account. No identifiable information will ever be shared with a third party, however data submitted may be used as part of a whole database by other researchers in the future. I.E. The data a participant submits to this study will be stripped of all identifying information and entered into a database. The database may then be shared with any interested third party for the purposes of research. However, contact information, names, and any other identifiable information will be kept confidential. No identifiable information will ever be printed in any publications or text related to the research or future uses of the data.
3. Sponsorship
Individuals, corporations, or organizations interested in sponsoring KLB Research are asked to provide their contact information so that the details of the sponsorship can be discussed. Prior to KLB Research formally and publicly acknowledging any gifts or sponsorship, the donor or sponsor will be asked for their permission to do so. Any and all sponsors or donors may choose to remain anonymous throughout the sponsorship process and their information will not be shared with any third party, nor will the details of their donation be made public.
Security of Your Information
Data collection and transferred in the log-in areas and on all on-line inquiry forms are also protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. If you are concerned about the security of submitting personal information over the internet, you may wish to submit personal information by regular mail, facsimile or telephone.
Access to personal information that has been received by KLB Research in the course of conducting its research and business is limited to the researchers of KLB Research who require the information to perform their duties, and to those otherwise authorized by law. All researchers of KLB Research are required to abide by our commitment to privacy in the handling of personal information. At KLB Research, personal information is also protected from unwarranted intrusion through the use of physical and/or electronic safeguards.
Personal information is retained only for the time that it is required for the identified purposes, or as required by law. Personal information that is no longer required is destroyed.
Access to Information
Subject to providing satisfactory identification, you may access any personal information that KLB Research has collected about you. Requests should be submitted, in writing, to KLB Research and we will reply within 30 days of receipt of your request. You may verify the accuracy and completeness of your information and may request that it be amended.
